- Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Ed grew up as a skier and a tennis player. Married, with 2 kids in college (“empty-nester” as of 2007), it wasn’t until the late 90’s that he was bitten by the golf bug. His biggest thrill in the sport came in 2006 when he finally got that ever elusive Hole-In-One (see happy, smiling face in picture). He started Golf Zoo with his brother, Rick, in 2001. They also own Tours de Sport, a ski travel company, founded in 1982. Ed is celebrating 20 years in the travel industry in 2008.
